You know what??? BUMP IT... Ima go ahead and start with a review of this REAL BUTTER super-softening DIY recipe because there are just waaaaaay too many Lovelies going crazy over this! So here's the type of thing that women are saying...
Marni Faith says....
"Literally JUST tried this mix on my hair, shampooed it out & blow dried and WOW! My hair is SO SOFT!
I'm in England, London & used each of these ingredients. The only thing I 'changed' was that I used 4tsp of blackJamaican castor oil.
The mask was so easy to apply & instantly I could feel my hair softening. Very moisturized & shiny. Will be applying this mask to my hair over this cool winter period! Thanks so much!!!"
This softens like a CHAMP because butter contains many fatty acids that your hair easily absorbs and that work to make your hair healthier, while also smoothing the hair and adding ever-needed moisture.

Girrrl, in the name of 100% pure shea butter, I do testify that sistas are out here growing hurr like Rapunzel, you hear me!?! LOVE IT!
So look... I want you to see this "7 years of being beautiful, Black and Natural" hair update because seeing it just feels good.

Today we're gonna get inspired by seeing the growth progress AND DIY hair growth recipe from "KinkyStyles1980".
Came Back After Heat Damage and Cutting 3 Inches
You might really find encouragement that even though "KinkyStyles1980" has very healthy and long hair today, she DID have some setbacks.
In the 4th year of her natural hair journey, she caused some bad heat damage from flat ironing and ended up having to cut off 3 inches of the luscious.
But that didn't stop her progress, that's important for us all to see because sometimes we make a mistake, jack our hair up to-be-danged and get down about it. Well keep your head up, stuff happens on the way to your goals sis! Check out her 7 years of Natural Hair Growth video below...

Here's what she used and I'll also link to the preparation video below....
So she got a nice deep conditioning treatment while giggling the whole time at hubby.... Check it out.
Perming Natural Hair Joke - Revenge Prank
Favorite Comments from Fake Perm Video
Jessica Peyton says...
"Girl you should have come out there crying with a scarf around your head and told him your hair was falling out and made a big deal of not wanting him to see it, and THEN take the scarf off and show him your full head of natural hair! Muahahahaha!"
"Can I get an Amen for an African American man whose feeling is STILL hurt because you want a perm! Lord bring them back!!"
"You could see the pride in his eyes diminish when he saw his wife putting that chemical cream or so he thought on her hair. After that, she was getting the shun treatment. But he was very relieved at the end but tried not to seem phased by it.
And continued to let her know that knowing who you are and what you stand for is what's important and that she was being wishy-washy because she got him on the prank lol And that jokes about diluting your African heritage was unacceptable. Which is a good thing he is a man who enjoys exactly what he has and that it doesn't need to change."
Products Used In Her FAKE Perm - REAL Deep Conditioner Recipe
Any fool that says "Black women can't grow long hair" needs to watch this video and have a tall glass of shut-your-trap-forever juice.
Cuz look.... After you see the gorgeously HEALTHY and loooooooong hair on this small YouTuber who goes by the name of "Indigenous Standz" you are gonna see what is truly possible with the right care and techniques.
What is TRULY impressive about this routine is just how she stresses keeping max hydration on her hair. Girrrrl, real talk...
You already know all those expensive-behind hair product retailers are happy this sista doesn't get a lot of shine or get a ton of attention (yet) because she's showing everyone who will listen how she's using only 3 very affordable products. Her Natural hair growth regimen products are....
WARNING! WARNING! If you will catch an absolute hissy-fit from seeing a sista use "fake hair" to produce a dope protective hairstyle. See yourself out of this article cuz waaaaay too many folks got in their feelings over this one. Whew....
End of the day, the style she shows comes out looking amazing and she gives a ton of detailed and helpful instructions. I mean she did her DANG THANG!
But laaaawd hammercy, some women really came at this young lady crazy. Yáll already know, some folks ain't happy unless they mad about somethin'.
I just blew your mind with that philosophical DOOZY, didn't I? Ha! Anywhoo girrrl...
I can hardly understand it, still let's enjoy it for what it is. A thorough and cool tutorial. The vid is below and I posted a few of the comments that I liked defending the sista....
In Defense Of Seun's Use of "Fake Hair" - Protective Styling Has a REAL Purpose
One thing I liked about the comments under the vid is that some other women stepped up and defended Seun about using the Italian Perm Yaki Hair so that she could go on living her best life and not be going back and forth with no haters, LOL! Check them out....
Also some ppl like versatile looks that last for days so they don't have to bother with combing their hair, esp those with a busy work life. Lastly, she's doing a TUTORIAL to show others how to create styles, not necessarily meaning she would wear this style or wear weave all the time.
Now stop asking. You sound rude and quite annoying. Btw, I thought the video was useful, as intended. Keep up the great work..."

Ebony Miracle Says...
I am seriously binge-watching your videos! I understand why you wear weaves(which has absolutely nothing to do with self-hate), the proof of the wonders and benefits of wearing protective styles is clearly in your natural hair which you proudly flaunt on a regular basis! Your tutorials get through to me in such a way that no other YouTuber has.
And for the first time in my history of wearing weaves, I am able to actually entertain the idea of installing my own weaves(may God help me!). I took down my weave not too long ago and noticed a significant amount of growth that I would not have noticed if I was constantly styling and manipulating my natural hair.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. You are truly beautiful inside as well as outside. To be as young as you are and to have such a keen knowledge of hair is truly a blessing. I wish you the very best in whichever direction you decide to go in life.
Ahhh, don't you just love to see a happy couple working together?!? Well in this video tutorial showing us how to do a GORGEOUS finger coil natural hairstyle, Youtuber Yapah Rawchaa's husband lends a helping hand and narrates this bomb natural hairstyle while the sista shows the skills off.
It's so great to hear her husband encouraging her love and care for her natural hair and even giving a little pep talk to the other natural women out here who will ultimately end up with healthier and stronger hair.
Anyway, we wanted to pick through all of the "bought and paid for" reviews that are so popular on Youtube these days and find you some honest reviewers, just like we did when The Mane Choice came out with theirType 4 Hair Line a few months ago. So let's get into it, shall we...
2 Youtubers who BlackHairOMG Trusts - Fro The Culture Reviews
But Kimberly Cherrell and Shenelle Taylor get our 100% AUTHENTIC BlackHairOMG STamp of Approval. They always give their real feelings even if they don't like a product.
Even in these reviews of "Do it FRO the Culture" from The Mane Choice, one of these sistas flat out says, she'll continue to use the rest of her bottles, but it's not really for HER. She loved the conditioner, but she says she pretty much loves ALL of The Mane Choices conditioners, but when it came to styling she had some different feelings....
Check out Kimberly Cherrell's video right now and see what you think...
Honest Review Video: Mane Choice 'Do it FRO the culture'
Our Main Choice of Comments That May Interest You
So while Kimberly had an issue with some of the products, other naturals who have tried it think it's the bomb! Hey, we're all different. Check out a couple comments about the NEW Main Choice Do it Fro The Culture line...
"Girl you know I loved that gel, but I completely understand why it wasn’t your favorite. It didn’t do the things you love in a gel-like super definition, but honey that’s why I loved it. No crunch, not drying at all...."
Da Lazy Natural says...
"This Main Choice Do it Fro The Culture line would be good for a friend of mine who prefers the big fluffy fro look over defined with a little crunch. I like my curls defined with some crunch because I know it's going to last all week. I'm not now nor have I ever been one to wash my hair every few days.
My wash days are every week to week and a half (depending on how good I'm being). So I need products that will give me both moisture and hold while keeping the frizz at bay!"
The comments are full under these videos too! The Mane Choice is stirring things up once again with their unique marketing, beautiful packaging and attempts to cover the needs of EVERY type of natural. Check out this last review from Shenelle Taylor...

OKAY listeeeeen, so you're about to see this really cute tutorial from a small Youtuber that really caught a lot of attention. Good AND bad attention girl...
Ahhh, I love the smell of fresh haircare dictators in the morning! Baaaaahaha...
Me personally, I can't understand why people get real-world angry about someone applying a little heat to their hair every blue moon. Yes, constant and harsh heat is a known hair killer, folks gets so EXTRA though!
I mean, I don't use heat. But do you boo... And if I do have any reaction it maybe some CONSTRUCTIVE advice or if somebody is totally jackin' their hair up and don't wanna listen, I just sit back, grab some popcorn and get my giggle on.
Life's too short too catch a nervous breakdown over somebody else's head of hair.
So let me tell you what happened girrrrrl, we've all seen the naturals that get waaaaay in their feelings about what someone else does with their own hair (you know the type), lol.
Well honeeeeeey, some of these folks I saw talkin' bukoo crap about this sista named Zoia was just a lil' too much.
Her tutorial below is actually quite good, truth be told. But she got soooo much backlash that she had to come back and explain her self...
Zoia Explains That There's No Reason to Be BIG MAD
So look, the sista ended up coming back to say to all the natural hair rulers of the world...
"Guys, lol. This is crazy I have to post this but I rarely straighten my WHOLE head because I wear sew-ins and do other things to my hair. I give my hair breaks all the time and prior to me straightening my hair this time I went 3 months without putting any heat on my hair!
I'm fine with my hair. It's still healthy with my little heat damage in the front! Thanks for the advice though... (smiley face)"
She kept it peaceful and classy, as a true Queen does... And besides that, the proof was ALL THE WAY in the pudding.
The End Results: FIRE
So not everyone was a negative Nancy, many naturals showed love and tried to let this sista be great the best way she knows how to be.
"Am I the only one who is confused round these parts??? Well, maybe so..."
Well, you aren't the only one confused. No worries though girly! this sista helps you AVOID TIME-WASTIN'....
If you have been wondering why your twist-outs on type 4 natural hair never come out right or your twists never seem to stay without looking all frizzy, it's ALL covered in this tutorial. You'll learn how to twist properly for maximum hold, definition and plump twists for protective styling greatness
"Girrrl, I've Been Twisting My Hair Wrong The Whole Time!"
The most BOMB part you'll see in this tutorial is that she shows you how most of us are twisting incorrectly and end uplookin' dusted and busted, lol.
Yes, she actually shows how to twist WRONG too, the exact mistakes we usually make that are the main reason you don't get defined long-lasting twists.
it may seem like common sense to many, but it's nerve-wracking for many melanin bombshells who have no idea why they cannot achieve that "bomb" twistout/defined curls/curl definition! The skruggle is real honey..... (I know how to spell "struggle", chill....)
I feel this is such an important video because most natural hair YouTubers don't focus on this subject, checoutuy the video tutorial here....
Video Tutorial: How To Twist 4c Hair Correctly for Twistouts
But now I know, that's why love this tutorial on how to SLAY 8 dope natural hairstyles on old dirty hair! Cuz it beez like that sometimes! Let's keep it real!
Great Natural Hairstyles From a YouTuber I'd Never Known!
You know that our hope is always to show you someone that Youtube may not be throwing in your face every 5 minutes like the "big names" they promote...
That way you see some information you may have never seen and these sistas can get some more exposure and maybe more support from the community!
So let me introduce you to this Youtuber that I just discovered today, her name is Kaay, and she's a gorgeous chocolatey sister who has some really underrated styling videos. That's why she's in the Black hairOMG SPOTLIGHT today!
Don't Sleep On The Gems She Non-Chalantly Drops
One must-do tip that Kaay mentioned and demonstrated very quickly was to start buy spraying the hair down with water (make sure it's not hard water) before starting to style it.
